Each workshop is organized around a specific thematic area. There are 10 thematic workshops that will run in parallel during the three days of the Conference. Each participant at the Conference will choose which workshop they would like to join. Details on the themes will be available at the conference website. Each workshop is organized over four sessions (one session on day1, two on day 2 and one on day 3) with a total time of 7 hours. Longer workshops can be scheduled if required of 14 hours (additional 7 hours on 30 Oct) and 21 hours ( additional 7+7 hours on 30, 31 Oct).
Each workshop will involve
- Sharing of experiences and good practices
- Exploring and clarifying how the Earth Charter as an ethical framework and guide to action can be used most effectively in each area.
- Developing the resources and tools needed to support EC activities in each area.
